With Bing Rewards you can earn credits and then spend said credits to get free stuff, like gift cards from Amazon.com for example. That’s the part you already knew. So I’ll just move on to the exciting part you don’t know yet.

Here’s the news: as part of a new Scratch & Win game, Bing Rewards is giving you the chance to win some cool prizes. Microsoft is giving away more than $15,000 in prizes. More than 5,000 prizes are up for grabs, including Xbox One consoles, Surface Pro tablets, Nokia Lumia Icon smartphones, and Amazon.com gift cards worth $50.

You will have to part with 3 credits for 1 scratch. This gives you the chance to win one of the following prizes:
  • Xbox One + Kinect (6).
  • Surface Pro 3 with Surface Pro Type Cover (3).
  • Nokia Lumia Icon (3).
  • 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership (25).
  • $50 Amazon.com Gift Card (50).
  • $50 Groupon Gift Card (50).
  • 100 Bing Rewards credits (500).
  • 50 Bing Rewards credits (1,500).
  • 10 Bing Rewards credits (3,000).
As I was saying, you have to spend 3 credits for 1 scratch. A couple of things must be added here.
First up, you need to know that you can play up to 10 times per day (10 scratches equal 30 credits).
Next up, you need to know that the Scratch & Win game will end on 11/19/2014 at 11.59 PM ET; the winners will be notified directly and then they will be announced publicly on or around 1/15/2015.

Additional info on the Scratch & Win game is available here.

If you’re not a member of the Bing Rewards program, perhaps this Scratch & Win game will get you to join.
