This spring, security company AVAST invited you to recommend avast! Free Antivirus and thus earn a free license for avast! Internet Security.

This winter the security company is once again inviting you recommend its products. This time though, the company will reward you with cash prizes – 17 cash prizes totaling $26,000. AVAST is doing this to celebrate its 25th anniversary and to celebrate the fact that it reached the 200 million users milestone.

Back in April, I was reporting that security company AVAST is giving you chance to win a 1, 2, or 3-year license for avast! Internet Security by recommending avast! Free Antivirus. If 7 friends downloaded and installed the security application, you got a 1-year license for free; if 14 friends got the security application, you got a 2-year license; and if 21 friends go it, you got a 3-year license.

This December, I am glad to report that security company AVAST is giving you the chance to win cash prizes by recommending its products. The best AVAST recommenders who help AVAST get new users globally, will receive cash prizes. And people who are not interesting in recruiting new AVAST users also have the chance to win some cash. They have the chance to win a $1,000 cash prize by creatively recommending AVAST. The best 10 recommendations will be rewarded with $1,000.

Avast puts up the following cash prizes for its “recommend avast! to your friends” contest.
  • 6 x $1,000 for the people who recommend the most on their own continent.
  • 10 x $1,000 for the people who come up with the most creative recommendations.
  • 1 x $10,000 for the one person who recommends the most friends.

The contest ends on the 6th of January, 2014 at midnight, CET.
The winner will be announced on the 16th of January.
