Rovio Mobile, via the Facebook page of Angry Birds, has just announced that you can win one of 10 free copies of Angry Birds Seasons, which has recently been updated in honor of St Patrick’s Day. What do you have to do to win the free copy of Angry Birds Seasons? As Rovio explained, all you have to do is “write down your best Go Green with Angry Birds -pitch in the comment box.”

You will of course have to visit the Angry Birds Facebook page to do that. Don’t pitch your idea in the comment section here on FindMySoft. You could leave a comment here if you want to say something though.

For those of you who don’t already know this, Angry Birds Seasons has been updated to version 1.3.0 in preparation for St Patrick’s Day. The update, called Go Green, went live on the App Store yesterday and brought with it the following new bits and pieces:
- 15 new very green levels.
- 2 new Golden Eggs and an undisclosed St Patrick’s Day surprise
- There are pots of gold everywhere.
- From within the app you can send St Patrick’s Day card to your friends.

“As we all know, every season is an Angry Birds season. After Trick Or Treat, Season’s Greedings and Hogs and Kisses, Angry Birds Seasons returns with the greenest episode yet: Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day! Have a lucky St. Patrick’s Day by popping more pigs!” said Rovio Mobile in the app’s description.

Yet another Angry Birds version will be released less than 2 weeks from now: Angry Birds Rio will be released on the 22nd of March. We’ve known about this since February, but we didn’t know precisely when the app would be released. Rovio Mobile announced that the app’s release date is March 22nd and that the game will feature 60 levels.

Angry Birds Rio is based on the Rio movie scheduled to be released on the 15th of April in the US.

As 20th Century Fox explained, the movie follows the story of Blu, a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, and Linda, Blu’s owner and best friend, who think that Blu is the last of his kind. When they find out that there’s another Macaw in Rio de Janeiro called Jewel, they go to Rio de Janeiro. A group of bungling animal smugglers then kidnap Blu and Jewel. After Blu and Jewel escape their kidnappers, thanks to Jewel’s street smarts and a group of wise-cracking and smooth-talking city birds, Blu has to find the courage to learn to fly, thwart the kidnappers who are hot on their trail, and return to Linda.

As Rovio Mobile explained, in the Angry Birds Rio game the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio. After escaping their captors, the angry birds set out to save Blue and Jewel.
