The PlayStation VR may not be as expensive at the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive, but that doesn’t mean it’s cheap. Spend several hundred dollars on it, get it in your hands, and the last thing you’ll want to do is damage it. Or, worse still, take it apart on purpose.

If you really need to know what’s inside that headset, you don’t have to take it apart yourself. That’s what teardown videos are for.

In this teardown video, one of Sony’s engineers disassembles the PlayStation VR’s headset. If you’ve always wanted to see what’s inside one of those things, this is your chance.

The video features the $399.99 PlayStation VR Core Bundle, which includes the VR headset, headphones and all required cabling.

The $499.99 PlayStation VR Launch Bundle also includes the PlayStation Camera (required for the system’s head tracking functionality) and two PlayStation Move controller (required to interact with virtual elements).
