Rovio Entertainment announces week-long party to celebrate the fact that Angry Birds Friends got 25 million likes on Facebook. Last week the company was celebrating Bad Piggies’ first anniversary, this week it’s celebrating Angry Birds Friends’ success.


Angry Birds Friends got 25 million likes on Facebook about a couple of weeks back. Rovio Entertainment said at the time that it will hold a party to celebrate the event. After taking a bit of time with the planning process, the company came up with an interesting announcement. Prepare to be amazed!

Rovio Entertainment announced that it is going to celebrate the 25 million likes Angry Birds Friends got on Facebook by holding a special week-long celebration.

In related news, Rovio recently celebrated 1 year of Bad Piggies. Or to put in other words, the Bad Piggies game celebrated its first anniversary. The puzzle game that was released in September 2012 is now 1 year old.

To celebrate this joyous occasion, Rovio rolled out an infographic that showcases just how popular the Bad Piggies game is. Did you know that overall, people spent 26,258 years playing Bad Piggies so far? Check out the infographic below for some other interesting facts about Bad Pigges.

Rovio also celebrated by opening a Bad Piggies Tumblr and by launching a special competition that goes something like this: build a creative piggy vehicle and you could win a one-of-a-kind trophy. Share your best Bad Piggies creation in the monthly contest and you could get your hands on a handmade trophy.
