Vault-Tec Workshop, the 5th game add-on for Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG, is going to be released this month. That much we already knew. What we didn’t know is precisely when the add-on would be released. Now we do.
Vault-Tech Workshop rolls out on July 26. Priced at $4.99 (free for Season Pass owners), it will be made available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Create your own vault and oversee it
Vault-Tec Workshop lets you create your own custom vault, attract dwellers to it, and then oversee it. So in a nutshell, it lets you live out your fantasies of being a Vault Overseer in the Fallout 4 universe.
"Build a brighter future underground with the all-new Vault-Tec Workshop," explained Bethesda. "Create a massive Vault and attract new Dwellers using pre-war industrial kits complete with retro-nostalgic furniture, lighting, and art. And like every good Overseer, run Vault-Tec approved experiments on your Dwellers to learn what makes an ideal citizen. Vault-Tec has given you the tools, the rest is up to you!"
If you want to take a closer look at Vault-Tec Workshop, Bethesda released a lengthy video walkthrough that offers a fist look at the upcoming add-on and explains how to build your very own vault. Check it out below.
One more add-on and that’s it
Nuka World, the $19.99 add-on that’s scheduled to be released in August, will be Fallout 4’s final add-on. The exciting thing about Nuka World is that it lets you explore an all-new region, take on new quests, and uncover new weapons and creatures.
"Take a trip to Nuka-World, a vast amusement park now a lawless city of Raiders," says Bethesda. "Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom and the Galactic Zone. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!"
Quick recap of the Fallout 4 add-ons released so far
I’m hoping that once Bethesda’s done with all these add-ons, it will announce a Fallout 4 Gold Edition. If Elder Scrolls Online can get a Gold Edition, surely Fallout 4 can too.
