It is not something we wish happened to us, but it inevitably happens: we get ill and we need to find a doctor quick to make us all better again. But finding a doctor, a good one, could prove to be a daunting task. Luckily enough the internet is there to help you out.

Insider Pages has recently rolled out a very useful web service that allows you to do just that – search for a doctor. Appropriately named Doctor Finder, the new web service allows you to go through a large database of doctors and view detailed reviews from patients who have been treated by these doctors. The service should help you easily find a doctor that’s right for you.

To get started with Doctor Finder you need only click here. Once on the Doctor Finder webpage, you need to do the following:
- Check the box next to doctor or dentist
- Type in your address, city or zip
- Then click start searching

The search does not end there. You will then be presented with some options to help you narrow down your search. You can select the doctor’s specialty, gender, experience, the type of insurance the doctor accepts, the distance to the doctor’s office, and language.

By default, Doctor Finder sorts search results according to the best reviews first, then according to the number of reviews. There are a lot of reviews available on the site – the downside is that not all doctors have a review; the upside is that most of them do.

“Most of our health related traffic comes from people who have started their search on Google but ended up on Insider Pages because they want to be able to use a finer filter for narrowing down the list of potential doctors Google doesn't specialize in helping you find a doctor based on filters like health insurance, gender, patient rating, proximity to your home or office, track record and the like,” said Eric Peacock, General Manager with Insider Pages in an interview for WebProNews.
