The trailer first aired on Monday, October 19, 2015 on ESPN, during the halftime break of the NFL game between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles. It’s now available on YouTube for all to enjoy. Check it out below.

Tickets for Star Wars: The Force Awakens went on sale shortly after the trailer aired. You can get your tickets online from Fandango and other online booking services or theater chain sites. Unsurprisingly, demand for tickets was great when they went on sale – so great that some online booking services and theater chain websites couldn’t take it.

Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in Episode 3, 4, and 5, will star in the upcoming Episode 7, The Force Awakens. Because he’s not in the movie’s official trailer, some are speculating that he’s the bad guy with the mask. Leaving speculation aside, what I want to show you is a video of Luke Skywalker getting crushed by an AT-AT in Star Wars Battlefront.

This September, Facebook announced that 360-degree videos started rolling out on the social network, explaining that it took this step because “people enjoy more immersive content in their News Feeds.” Several publishers shared 360-degree videos to mark the occasion, including Star Wars.

Star Wars released an immersive 360-degree video that lets you speed across the Jakku desert from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

This animation is a fan-made short film that makes the Imperial pilots look awesome.

This video brings together the Star Wars and the Start Trek franchises.

If you don’t want to watch all 6 movies at the same time, I must remind you about the Star Wars Digital Movie collection, available in Digital HD globally since April 10, 2015.

Three new modes for Star Wars Battlefront

Battlefront features a variety of action-packed multiplayer modes. Earlier this October, game developer DICE introduced 3 new modes for the game:
  1. Hero Hunt – 1 player is the Hero or the Villain character; 7 players fight for the Rebels or the Imperial forces and have to defeat the Hero/Villain. When you defeat the Hero/Villain, you take his place.
  2. Cargo – run into the enemy base, pick up the valuable cargo that is stored there, and return it to your home base.
  3. Droid Run – six Rebels and six Imperials fight to capture and hold on to three GNK Power Droids.
Battlefront’s other game modes are: Fighter Squadron, Supremacy, Walker Assault, Blast, Drop Zone, and Heroes vs Villains. Additional information on Battlefront’s game modes is available here.

Battlefront does not have a traditional single-player mode. If you want to play on your own, you can play Survival Missions offline or through split-screen.

“Like so many others around the world, everyone at DICE is a tremendous fan of the Star Wars universe,” said Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir, Senior Producer of Star Wars Battlefront. “To be working on a Star Wars project and knowing we are helping to represent the universe we love to our generation and a legion of new Star Wars fans is truly an honor. Thanks to the access and knowledge shared with us by Lucasfilm, and the passion and talent of our team, we plan to deliver an amazing game that puts you right in the middle of the Star Wars battles you always imagined playing.”
