Want to learn something new and interesting? Google ‘fun fact’ or 'I’m feeling curious' and the search engine will display a fun fact atop the search results.

Perhaps you’re not in the mood for fun facts. Perhaps you’d much rather play something. In that case, switch to Microsoft’s Bing search engine and play snake.

Fun Facts on Google

If you Google fun fact or I’m feeling curious, Google will bring up a fun fact and will display it above all other search results.

For example, did you know that a cat’s memory span is thought to be at least 200 times better than a dog's? While a dog’s short term memory is of about 5 minutes, a cat’s is up to 16 hours.

Click on “Ask another question” and Google will serve up another fun fact. Google will pull interesting facts from various websites, conveniently display them, let you access the fact’s source, and let you easily move on to the next fact.

Play Snake on Bing

Google isn’t the only one to have an entertaining card up its virtual sleeve. Competing search engine Bing has one as well.

Search for Bing snake on Bing and, atop all the search results, you’ll see a window that invites you to start playing the game. Obviously, you have to use the arrow keys to guide the snake.

I have to remind you that you can also play Pong on Bing. All you have to do is search for Pong.
