If you’re a Star Wars fan, then I have some pretty cool news for you: Twitter just announced that it introduced exclusive Star Wars emojis.

In partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm, Twitter came up with some custom emojis that you can use to express your passion for Star Wars or spread the word about the upcoming “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.”
.

Episode VII is scheduled to be released in theaters on the 18th of December 2015. Even though that’s a long way away, Twitter is excited about the upcoming theatrical release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. And because of that, it partnered with Disney and Lucasfilm, and created custom Twitter emojis.

The first three Star Wars emojis debuted during the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California. You can see these three emojis in the image at the top.

“Tweeting a #StarWarsEmoji is simple. Twitter users who post hashtags representing keywords associated with specific Star Wars characters and legacy themes will see a small emoji-like icon automatically appended to the end of the text of the tag, embedded within the Tweet,” explained Rachel Dodes, Head of Movie Partnerships at Twitter.

While you wait for Episode VII to be released, you could re-watch all the other episodes from the Star Wars Saga. I have to remind you that all 6 movies have recently been released in Digital HD. For the first time ever, the Star Wars Digital Movie Collection has been released in Digital HD. Get the collection and you will get to enjoy the movies and you will also get to watch a series of special features and bonus featurettes.

I also have to remind you that Disney turned the “Star Wars Rebels” animated TV series into an action-platformer game – “Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions” for iOS, Android, Windows & Windows Phone.
