UPDATE July 9: Rovio rolled out this Tiny Thief video presentation.

Tiny Thief, the second game to be released by Rovio Entertainment as part of Rovio Stars, is coming to iOS and Android next week, on the 11th of July. To celebrate, Rovio is running a Tiny Thief Competition.

When Rovio Entertainment introduced Rovio Stars, the company said that it will kick things off by publishing two games as part of this new mobile gaming publishing initiative. Those two games are Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, which has been published late this June, and Tiny Thief, which will be published on the 11th of July. Precisely a week from now iOS and Android users will be able to get their hands on the puzzle-solving, hidden-objects adventure game set in a medieval fantasy world full of surprises.

To celebrate the fact that Tiny Thief will be published soon, Rovio Entertainment is running a Tiny Thief Competition that goes something like this:
  • Print out this wanted poster.
  • Place it somewhere fun.
  • Take a picture of the aforementioned poster.
  • Upload the picture to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WheresTinyThief. Or send the picture to Rovio Entertainment at community@rovio.com.
  • The competition’s deadline is Sunday, July 7th.
A careful chosen committee will analyze all the submitted photos and select 5 winners. They prize they will receive consists of an exclusive Tiny Thief shirt and poster.

Tiny Thief wanted posters have already been spotted around the world: in Shanghai, in Tokyo, and in Seoul.

The aforementioned Rovio Stars initiative was introduced mid-May. The aim of this initiative is for Rovio Entertainment to help out talented developers from all over the world by publishing their games.

“In the course of our work, we run into so many fantastic upcoming titles -- games with memorable characters and entertaining gameplay that are also just really fun to play!” said Kalle Kaivola, Director of Development. “These are the sorts of titles we’re interested in. We want to help the developers to give these games that last coat of polish, publish the games and find their audience. We’re focusing on a small, select number of games, and each Rovio Stars launch will be an event of its own.”
