Want to be able to connect with people from all over the world, not just from your current location? You can do just that with Passport, a feature offered by the paid Tinder Plus.

Want to be able to take back a swipe? You can do that with Rewind, a feature that is also offered by the paid Tinder Plus.

The guys behind Tinder recently introduced Tinder Plus, a premium version of the Tinder matchmaking mobile app. The exciting thing about Tinder Plus is that it introduces a couple of much-requested features: Passport and Rewind. It also introduces unlimited liking (right swiping).

The free version lets you find people around your current location. After all, that’s the way the app is marketed – as a “fun way to connect with new and interesting people around you.” The paid Tinder Plus lets you go further than that. The Passport feature lets you change your location and by doing that it lets you connect with people from all over the world.

“With Passport, we've created an entirely new way to facilitate global connections on mobile,” explained the Tinder team. “Passport lets you change your location to connect with people anywhere around the world. It's like teleporting to a different location. Search by city or drop a pin on the map and you can begin swiping, matching and chatting with Tinder users in a destination of your choice.”

The free version of Tinder lets you swipe left to pass on someone. But, what if you were too hasty with your swipe and now you regret it? The paid Tinder Plus has a Rewind feature that lets you take back your last swipe. So if you swiped left by accident and passed on someone, you can use Rewind to take back your swipe and bring that someone back.

According to the Tinder team, there’s a good reason for not making Rewind available for the free version and for limiting likes. “The validity of the swipe is core to the Tinder experience. Tinder works best when swipes are genuine reflections of a user's desire to connect. Limitations on rewinding and right-swiping give users more incentive to make sure their swipes are honest.”

Tinder Plus users don’t have to worry about any limitations though. They get unlimited liking capability so they can express interest in a large number of people.

Tinder Plus is priced at $9.99 per month for customers who are under 30 and $19.99 per month for customers who are over 30.

A Tinder Plus video presentation is available on vimeo.
