If you prefer something with more of a holiday than a wintery feel, then I suggest you get the Sugar and Spice theme. The official presentation nicely sums it up: “Nothing says 'holidays' like scrumptious baked goods. You can almost smell them with this tasty free Windows theme. They’re delicious—and calorie free!”

Microsoft offers themes for free to its customers. You can use themes if you have a PC powered by Windows 8, Windows RT, Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions. A theme is a combination of desktop background pictures, window colors, and sounds. You can check out all the themes Microsoft has to offer on the Personalization Gallery here.
