Three Fun and Free Cow-themed Android Apps

After a long weekend of drinking and partying with friends, I’m not exactly feeling tip top. After bumping into co-workers and spilling some cups of coffee, I kind of feel like a bull in a china shop. So that gave me a nice idea – how about presenting three fun and free cow-themed apps? It might be the hangover, it might be something else, but right now it seems like a brilliant idea.

So without any further ado, here are three of my favorite cow apps for the Google-developed Android operating system, apps offered free of charge in the Android Market.

Cows vs Aliens
This app is great if you want a fun way to pass the time – it will keep you entertained for quite a bit. The aim in the game is quite simple: the aliens are invading, and it’s up to you to get the cows in the barn so they don’t get abducted.

You heard the cows by pushing them with your fingers; just make sure not to push an alien spacecraft in the barn while you’re at it.

As you play along, there are 5 levels in all, you get milk points that you can use to get power-ups, boosters, saves, and extras like ringtones. The aforementioned 5 levels are: spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Area 54).

Here’s a video that showcases the Cows vs Aliens game.

Cow Tipping
The goal in the Cow Tipping game is a fairly simple one: you have to tip the cows. You do that by tapping them; be fast, as the timer is counting down and you have to tip as many cows as possible until the time runs out. What I really liked about this app is that it has a nice soundtrack – the cows moo when you tip them and a Mission Impossible theme song plays in the background.

Mooo
I left the simplest app for last. What this app does is it plays a moo sound when you turn your device upside down. And if you shake your device, it rattles.
