Called Threat Watch, the app is meant to deliver the latest security news and security alerts to the iPhone user. The app doesn’t work on the iPhone alone. It also works on the iPod Touch and iPad.

For no charge whatsoever, you can turn your mobile device – be it the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad – into a personal threat resource center. The app plugs directly into TrendWatch and delivers news on the latest security threats – this includes security advisories, info on security awareness, online safety tips, threat prevention tips, free tools, and access to the Trend Micro malware blog.
