Ever since Apple rolled out Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, the eight major release of its operating system, software developers have been boasting about the fact that their products are compatible with it. Skype updated Skype for Mac to version 5.3 and added support for Lion, Trend Micro Smart Surfing is compatible with Lion, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for Mac is fully compatible with Mac and so is Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac, and Intego updated its entire range of products so they are compatible with Lion.

Among the latest to announce Lion compatibility is Piriform, the privately owned UK software developer dedicated to creating top quality applications for Windows and Mac. The developer announced that CCleaner for Mac Beta 3 has been rolled out to the masses and that this release fixes compatibility issues with Lion.
