Cupertino-based software developer Apple has rolled out a new ad for the iPad, ad entitled “We’ll Always.” If you would like to view the ad, you can do it on popular video sharing site YouTube by simply clicking here. Before you go check out the ad, perhaps you would like to know what the ad focuses on.

To put it bluntly, the add focuses on the fact that the iPad can enhance people’s lives. In the ad Apple showcases several ways in which the iPad can come in handy by changing the way we do the things we love. The ad puts the spotlight on Photos, iBooks, a recipe app, MLB, a video conferencing app, iMovie, and an educational writing app.

“We'll never stop sharing our memories. Or getting lost in a good book. We'll always cook dinner and cheer for our favorite team. We'll still go to meetings, make home movies, and learn new things. But how we do all this will never be the same,” says Apple in the ad.

In related news, Apple recently reported the financial results for its Q3 that ended on the 25th of June. Apple reported total revenue of $28.57 billion and a new profit of $7.31 billion; which means that revenue is up 82% and profits are up 125% compared to the previous quarter of last year. Apart from the financial report, the company also made public the number of devices it sold: 20.34 million iPhones, 9.25 million iPads, 3.95 million Macs, 7.54 million iPods. So getting back to the ad, the iPad is enhancing the life of more than 9 million new iPad users.

In further related news, Apple released the eight major version of the Mac OS X operating system, mainly Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, to the market last week on the 20th of July. One day after Lion hit the Mac App Store, it was downloaded more than 1 million times.
