As the weekend gets closer and closer, your productivity goes out the window. You don’t feel like working and you’re not really willing to go over serious news about serious topics.

So, just like the weeks before, I invite you to check out 10 news that will put a smile on your face, make you laugh, and probably even say 'wow' or 'what the f...'

1. Dronesurfing seems like a cool alternative to kitesurfing

The problem with kitesurfing is that you need wind. So if there’s no wind, you can’t go out on the open water. Or can you? The guys at Freefly recently introduced a very cool alternative: dronesurfing, which replaces the kite with a drone.

The drone in the video is the Freefly ALTA 8.

2. An angry Nicki Minaj talks trash about Verizon

In this T-Mobile commercial, Nicki Minaj is angry on her man. Why? Because he’s cheating on her with Snapchat. And whose fault do you think it is? Why, Verizon’s of course.

And speaking about commercials…

3. Apple took a dark turn with its first iPhone 7 ad

If you were expecting Apple to roll out a cheery add for its brand new iPhone 7, then I have some bad news for you. The first iPhone 7 ad is… well, take a look below.

As Cnet’s Chris Matyszczyk put it, "this is quite some horror movie."

4. Google’s new ads for Duo are really cute

Google rolled out 5 ads for Duo, its easy to use 1-to-1 video calling app for Android and iOS. Unlike Apple’s creepy iPhone 7 ad, these ads are really cute.

Fun fact: Duo has been downloaded more than 10 million times. In just a month. On Android alone!

5. Microsoft has a fresh batch of Mac-bashing ads

The Surface Pro 4 ad that says Mac are as useful as a hat for a cat is old news. Microsoft has a fresh batch of ads that promote the Surface Pro 4 by making fun of Apple’s products.

The silly music cracks me up.

6. The Trump talks about "the cyber"

You might be tech illiterate if someone asks you about cyber security and you start referring to it as "the cyber." That’s what presidential candidate Donald Trump did (see here), prompting security veteran Graham Cluley to respond with this amusing video.

"You know cyber is becoming so big today."

7. Ken Block’s latest video, inspired by Forza Horizon 3

Gymkhana NINE: Raw Industrial Playground, the latest video in the Gymkhana series, draws inspiration from Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 3 video game. Ken Block recreates some of the game’s daring tricks, like racing an opponent whose vehicle is suspended from a helicopter.

Forza Horizon 3, an Xbox Play Anywhere title, is going to be released on September 27. If you want to play the game before that, you’ll have to get the Forza Horizon 3 Demo, which is available for Xbox One only – for now. Until the Windows 10 version of the demo is released, Microsoft invites PC gamers to try Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.

8. Skip the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7, says Motorola

"Skip the sevens," says Motorola, referring to Apple’s iPhone 7 and Samsung’s Galaxy S7. "The goal of our Skip the Sevens campaign is to get you to think about what you really want from a smartphone," Motorola explained. "It’s our challenge to you. To the industry."

The people in the video above were led to believe they’re seeing a new iPhone prototype. What they were actually seeing was the new Moto Z droid with Moto Mods.

9. Queen’s "Bohemian Rhapsody," as you’ve never experienced it before

Bohemian Rhapsody, one of the greatest songs ever written, has been turned into a VR experience by Google Play and Qeen. Get the Bohemian Rhapsody Experience and go on a 360 degree journey that "features interactive elements and spatial sound, allowing you to step inside the music."

The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience is available for Android and coming to iOS soon.

10. Tim Cook says you won’t lose your AirPods

The biggest change the iPhone 7 introduces is the lack of a headphone jack. If you want to listen to music on the iPhone 7, one option is to get a pair of wireless headphones, like Apple’s own AirPods.

Worried that the $159 AirPods will fall out of your ear? In an interview with ABC, Tim Cook said that you shouldn’t worry about that. But... the internet isn’t buying it.
