The team behind the all new Yahoo! Mail has recently announced that the new email client has reached two major milestones. Here’s the first one: there are now more than 100 million monthly active users in the newest version of Yahoo! Mail. It is an impressive milestone and the Yahoo! Mail team wanted to thank all the users out there for making this possible. “Thanks to each and every one of you who made it happen! You are the reason that Yahoo! Mail is the #1 email provider in the US,” said Yahoo! Mail Product Manager Seema Kamath.

If you’re an Yahoo! Mail user and you’re not on the latest version, I advise you to upgrade. There is much to like about the new Yahoo! Mail: it is faster than previous versions, offers better protection against spam messages, can prioritize messages and contacts, has several handy social features, there are more than 50 themes you can use to customize the way it looks, and more. You can upgrade by visiting this site and clicking the “Upgrade Now” button.

Getting back to the topic at hand, the other major milestone the team behind the all new Yahoo! Mail announced is this: Yahoo! Mail’s page on incredibly popular social networking site Facebook now has more than 500,000 fans. Yahoo! Mail Product Manager Seema Kamath explained that Yahoo! Mail’s Facebook page was “the most explosive page on Facebook in June.”

Seema Kamath went on to explain that Yahoo! Mail’s popularity is due to the fact that the development team listens to the feedback the users provide and implements the features and changes the users ask for. “At Yahoo! Mail, we take pride in actively listening to and incorporating your feedback into the product,” said Seema.

If you are an Yahoo! Mail user and you want to share something with the development team behind the email client, like an idea for a new feature for example, you can do so by clicking the Help button (upper right hand corner in Yahoo! Mail), then selecting the Send Feedback option from the dropdown menu. If you do decide to send some feedback, you won’t be the only one – Seema Kamath explained that the team gets more than 5,000 pieces of feedback per day.
