I don’t know about you, but I like it when companies run promotions, campaigns or competitions and give everyone the chance to win stuff for free. Earlier this month I was glad to report that Yahoo!, as part of the "Make It Home, Bring it Home” competition (which lasts until November 30) is giving away a purple Sony Vaio notebook, a purple Samsung digital camera, a purple Coach Kristen Leather Satchel, and a purple Bissel PowerGroom pet compact vacuum. And not one of each, but 30 of each.

I am today excited to announced that Yahoo! is giving you the chance to win movie tickets for life. All you have to do is take the Yahoo! Pop Quiz and answer as many questions as possible in a timeframe of 120 seconds (that’s 2 minutes).

“Know who interrupted Taylor Swift at the VMAs? Which actress starred in “Salt”? What Eminem’s real name is? Do we have a game for you! The just-launched Yahoo! Pop Quiz provides a quick jolt of current questions to answer as you race against the clock for your high score,” announced Yahoo! in a blog post.

All the questions are multiple-choice. For each correct answer you will get 100 points and for each wrong answer you will lose 25 points. If you stumble across a question that leaves you scratching your head, hit the “Get a Hint” button and Yahoo! Search will provide some potentially useful information. If you manage to get 1000 points you will be entered into a daily draw for 4 movie tickets and the grand-prize draw for a lifetime supply of movie tickets from MovieTickets.com.

To take part in this competition you need to “like" the Yahoo! Facebook page. So what are you waiting for? Click this link to get started! You could very well be the next winner.
