To get things started, I am glad to announce that Electronic Arts (EA) presented the first gameplay footage for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game. It’s embedded below.

I remind you that Star Wars Battlefront, DICE’s reboot of the beloved Star Wars multiplayer-focused shooter, will be released in North America on November 17 and two days later in Europe, on November 19, 2015. The game will be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Additional information about Star Wars Battlefront is available here.

Star Wars: The Old Republic, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, will get an expansion.

Knights of the Fallen Empire is BioWare’s next expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic. It will be made available for free to all subscribers on October 27th and will have 9 chapters available at launch, with more to come after. This expansion raises the level cap to 65, includes the option to create a level 60 character, and features enhancements for all original 8 class stories.

"The expansion puts the player at the center of their own personal saga, playing as the Outlander, a veteran of the Great Galactic War. The player will come face-to-face with a new enemy, the Emperor of the Eternal Empire, only to discover that his dark destiny is tied to their own," said BioWare in a press release.

Knights of the Fallen Empire introduces you to the tragic destiny of twin heirs caught in a web of evil and manipulation spun for them by the darkest and most powerful Emperor yet to threaten the galaxy.
