As the BitTorrent team explained, these BitTorrent clients for Mac were designed with a simple goal in mind: to give Mac users the most popular features PC users are already enjoying. This means that the stable versions of uTorrent and BitTorrent Mainline for Mac come with the following new features:

- You can subscribe to torrent RSS feeds.
- You can set up Smart Feeds to auto-magically fetch torrents and start downloads.
- The scheduler allows you to pre-schedule start, limit and stop activity for downloads at regular intervals throughout the week.
- You can manage torrents from anywhere. From any browser, mobile browser on your iPad or another mobile device, and any Android-powered device that has the native uTorrent Remote app.
- The BitTorrent clients provide more info about what’s happening behind the scenes.

The BitTorrent team had another announcement that should put a smile on your faces: a new HTML5 mobile Web interface for the iPad. Director of Product Management with BitTorrent, Brett Nishi called the new web interface gorgeous and said it offers a great touch experience. “Our goal is to balance power and usability while keeping it fast and light,” explained Nishi.
