Today is the 14th of February, it is Valentines Day, the day when we celebrate love and affection. If you want to get into the Valentines Day spirit, if you want to show your Firefox browser some love, you could get a good looking Firefox Persona and decorate the browser in honor of Valentines Day.

There’s a big selection of Personas to choose from on getpersonas.com. If you go to Gallery -> then Holiday (just click here), you will find a large selection of Valentines Day-themed Personas for your Firefox browser. Pick the one you like and decorate your browser. A few examples of the sort of Personas you can get are available below.

Personas are natively supported by Firefox 3.6. What does that mean? It means you can place your mouse cursor over a Persona and see how it will make your browser look. If you like the Persona, simply click the “Wear it” button. If you click the “Wear it” button and seconds later you realize your don’t like that Persona, there is an easy way out. The moment you get a Persona, Firefox displays a “A new theme has been installed” prompt – just like the ones you get when the browser blocks a popup. From the prompt you can click two buttons:

Undo – your previous Persona will be restored.
Manage themes – the Add-ons window will pop up; from it you can uninstall themes, personas, plugins, and extensions.

If you are not on Firefox 3.6, if you are on an earlier version, then you need to get the Personas add-on. You can get it from AMO (addons.mozilla.org) – just click here.

As mentioned above, here are a few examples of the Valentines Day-themed Personas you can get on getpersonas.com:
