Matt Wiechec’s Marco Polo app will help you find your lost or misplaced iPhone. It’s just like playing a game of Marco Polo. When you shout out “Marco”, the app detects your voice and get your iPhone to shout back “Polo”.

"Marco Polo is inspired by the popular swimming pool game by the same name and is a fun way to find your misplaced phone," said Matt Wiechec. "In those moments where we have all lost our phones to the sofa cushions, or left them on the coffee table, or in the bathroom; we now have a fun way to find them again. It's like playing tag with your phone, just walk around shouting MARCO! and your phone will ring back POLO! in another room."

You get home, take your iPhone out of your pocket, and place it someplace around the house. Later on, when you need to use your iPhone, it’s nowhere to be found. It’s not on the counter, it’s not on the coffee table, it’s not in the kitchen, God knows where it is! It’s enough to drive anyone mad!

If the Marco Polo app is installed on your iPhone, you’re in luck. To find your misplaced iPhone you need only shout out Marco! Just like in the popular pool game, your phone will answer with Polo! The app runs in the background and when it detects your voice, it gets your iPhone to respond. It’s a simple concept but an efficient one. Thanks to Marco Polo you will quickly locate your misplaced iPhone.
