The stable version of Opera, Opera 25, comes with a “visual bookmarks” feature: all the websites you bookmark are stored as a collection of thumbnails. The Beta version of Opera, Opera 26, comes with a new feature that lets you share your bookmarks.

You will see a new Share button inside bookmark folders. If you click the Share button, you can share the contents of the aforementioned folder with others – even people who do not have the Opera web browser. Ruarí Ødegaard, team lead for Opera’s Mac and Linux desktop browsers, bookmarked all the things he wants for his birthday and used the Share button to create this share link.

Opera Coast, the web browser your iPhone deserves, moved from version 3.1 to version 3.2. The updated Opera Coast 3.2 comes with several new features. Here’s a list:
  • Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are supported.
  • Based on user feedback, Opera Software improved the overall user experience.
  • The redesigned web app icons look great on your iPhone’s home screen.
  • iOS 8 only features: the Opera Coast widget lets you check the latest news in the notification center; open links from another browser in Opera Coast; share pages from Opera Coast to other apps.
Opera Software introduced Opera Max to the US market in early 2014 and rolled it out to Turkish users later that year. Opera Max is a data savings app that can compress video, images and text. Thanks to Opera Max you can browse the web or use your favorite apps and use less of your data plan.

The news is that Opera Software rolled out Opera Max to more countries. If you’re in one of the countries listed below, you can get Opera Max and use it to avoid excessive data charges by extending the overall life of your data plan.

Get Opera Max from Google Play if you’re in one of the following countries: United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe Union states (all 28 states), Russia/CIS countries, Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Norway, Turkey, Brazil, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela.

Opera Max is also available in Vietnam on various Mobiistar smartphones.

Opera Software said that “if Opera Max is not yet available in your region, we hope to have it available in your region soon.”
