Sector Strike Gets Cool New Ship Skins

The free, fun, and fast-paced space shooter Sector Strike has been recently updated and the cool thing is that the update introduces some nice ship skins.

When I first reported on the incredibly addictive Sector Strike game, there was but one way to control the ship and there was no way to change the way the ship looked. This has changed – Clapfoot updated its app to version 1.1, version that introduces relative controls and new ship skins.

Relative Touch Controls
By enabling relative touch controls, the ship will no longer be right underneath your finger. You will be able to place your finger anywhere you want and thus move the ship around. To enable/disable the new relative controls you must access the Options menu and click the icon to the far right.



New Ship Skins
In the past you had no choice but to use the Zeus MK II is ship skin – now that Sector Strike has been updated, you have three more skins to choose from:
  • Hellion – this one will set you back 2000 credits and 20 energy.
  • Spartan – a skin priced at 8000 credits and 70 energy.
  • Ares – the top of the line and most expensive ship skin, 10000 credits and 100 energy.


So if you’re anxious to get the Ares skin and you were to purchase credits and energy to get it, you would have to part with $9.99 for 10K credits and $14.99 for 100 energy – a total of $24.98. alternatively, you
