Samsung Z: The First Tizen-powered Smartphone

The recently introduced Samsung Z is the first Samsung smartphone to be powered by the Tizen mobile operating system. The release of the Samsung Z is part of Samsung’s new policy to reduce dependence on Google’s Android mobile OS. The new Samsung Z comes with advanced web performance and usability, optimal performance with improved memory management, fast startup times, multi-tasking capabilities, and a built-in fingerprint sensor.

The first country to get the new Tizen-powered Samsung Z is Russia. As Samsung explained, Samsung Z will be available in Q3 in Russia. The smartphone will be rolled out to other countries after that.
