Samsung Presents its "Best Tablet Ever", the Galaxy Tab S

At the Samsung Premier event, Samsung presented the new Galaxy Tab S, touting the fact that it is the company’s best tablet ever.Galaxy Tab S, the world’s first high-resolution Super AMOLED tablet, is Samsung’s best tablet ever,” said Mr. Michael Abary, Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics America.

Samsung touted the fact that the Galaxy Tab S is its thinnest and lightest tablet to date. The 10.5-inch model comes with a 7,900mAh battery, weighs in at 465g (WiFi) / 467g (LTE), and boasts the following dimensions: 247.3 x 177.3 x 6.6 mm. The 8.4-inch model comes with a 4,900mAh battery, weighs in at 294g (WiFi) / 298g (LTE), and boasts the following dimensions: 125.6 x 212.8 x 6.6mm.

The sleek Book Cover for the Galaxy Tab S features 3 viewing modes, ergonomic stitch & dot design, and is available in white, bronze, red, blue, black, and ivory.



The Simple Cover is slimmer and features an ergonomic stitch & dot design. It is available in white, bronze, red, blue, and black.



The ergonomically designed and ultra-slim Bluetooth Keyboard for the 10.5-inch Tab will help users increase their productivity when typing.
