Rovio Entertainment, the game developer behind the incredibly popular Angry Birds game, just announced that its new Amazing Alex game will be rolled out to Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store tomorrow, July 12th, 2012. The announcement was accompanied by the following official launch trailer.

Rovio introduced the new Amazing Alex game late this June. The developer explained at the time that Amazing Alex will be a physics puzzle game that will feature 100 levels, 35 interactive objects, and 4 locations. The game will also feature fan-created puzzles, will provide the option to build and share levels, and will receive regular free updates.

As is obvious from the game’s title, the main character is called Alex. He is a whiz kid with a house full of toys that can turn anything into an adventure, from cleaning the room to battling robots in the backyard. Take control of Alex in Rovio’s new game and you will be tasked with coming up with a solution for the puzzle that’s put in front of you. This means you will have to use various items to create a chain reaction and solve the puzzle. You will get puzzles while playing more than 100 challenging levels and, as Rovio explained, there are several ways to solve said puzzles. If you think you came up with an interesting way to solve the puzzle, you can share it with friends.

Speaking about sharing things with friends, you can build levels for the Amazing Alex game and share them with friends, or with the public – the choice is up to you. The choice is also up to you when it comes down to using 35 interactive objects to create puzzles.

As mentioned at the start of this article, Amazing Alex will be rolled out to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on July 12th. There will be a Windows version of the game as well – but Rovio did not say when it will be released.
