Back in September 2012, Rovio rolled out “the piggest game ever”, Bad Piggies. Two and a half years have passed since then and it’s safe to say that the game is a big success. How else would you categorize a game that has been downloaded more than 100 million times?

That’s what Rovio just announced: that the Bad Piggies game reached 100 million downloads. It’s an impressive milestone that needs to be celebrated. And that is precisely what Rovio did by…drum rolls please…releasing an update.

To mark the fact that Bad Piggies reached 100 million downloads, Rovio rolled out a new episode entitled Little Pig Adventure. The exciting this about this new episode is that it features a huge sandbox and it introduces a new gearbox part. Thanks to this new part you can have your contraptions travel in reverse; this means they can move to the right and to the left.

“The new Little Pig Adventure sandbox pushes players’ engineering skills to the limit with new parts to collect, slippery icy surfaces, a huge play area to navigate, and new achievements. Collect all starboxes, and add some new parts to your collection!” said Rovio.

I remind you that the goal in Bad Piggies is to use several components to come up with a hunk of junk contraption that will get the pigs from point A to point B. What are the pigs after? The eggs of course! It’s up to you to help them get the eggs!

To play the new Little Pig Adventure episode, you need to get the latest Bad Piggies release. Android users can get it from Google Play and iOS users can get it from Apple’s App Store.
