Rovio Entertainment, Finnish developer of mobile apps that’s very well known for its immensely successful Angry Birds game, announced that it will release a new game for the iPhone, the iPad, and for Android-powered devices. The new game in question will be called Amazing Alex.

Amazing Alex will be a physics puzzle game that will feature 100 levels, 35 interactive objects, and 4 locations. The game will also feature fan-created puzzles, will provide the option to build and share levels, and will receive regular free updates.

The game’s main character is Alex, a whiz kid with a house full of toys that can turn anything into an adventure, from cleaning the room to battling robots in the backyard. As an Amazing Alex player you are tasked with coming up with a solution for the puzzle that’s put in front of you. This means you will have to use various items to create a chain reaction and solve the puzzle.

Over 100 challenging levels, the game will put your puzzle-solving skills to the test – and the nice thing is that there’s more than one way to solve the puzzles. Feel free to share your solution with friends and see which one of you came up with the most creative way to solve the puzzle.

And speaking about that, as mentioned above, the game lets you build and share levels. Using 35 interactive objects you can create puzzles and share them with others. You can share them with your friends or with the general public if you so desire.

Rovio did not say when the new game will be released. The company said that an iOS and Android version will be released soon and that a Windows version will follow soon after. While you wait you can check out the teaser Amazing Alex website and you can take a look at the teaser video below.
