Register for a Rovio Account and you’ll be able to save your game progress. If you reset your device or if you have to switch to another device, log in and continue playing from where you left off.

Rovio Entertainment, the company behind the amazingly popular Angry Birds game, made an exciting announcement earlier this month. The company announced that by registering for a Rovio Account you don’t have to lose your game progress when you switch from one device to another, when you need to reset your device, or if you share your device with other players. All your game progress is saved by the account; log in and you’ll be able to continue your game from where you left off.

You only need a valid email address to register for an account. After you register, all your game progress will be saved to the cloud. Game progress from several devices can be combined and added to an account. You will be signed out automatically if you don’t verify your account for a certain amount of time or if you change the password.

To sum it up, with a Rovio Account you can play on several devices without loosing game progress, reset a device safe in the knowledge you won’t lose your progress, and share your device with another player without having to worry that your game will be affected.

“Some of you may have noticed a new feature in your Rovio games called Rovio Account. Our fans have been asking for a way to play their game on different phones or tablets without losing their progress when changing the device. This is exactly what Rovio Account lets you do!” announced Rovio Entertainment via its blog.

The company added that the new Rovio Account feature is currently available in The Croods game globally, and in the classic Angry Birds game on iOS in Finland and Poland. Rovio Account will be introduced into more areas in the future.
