Rovio Entertainment shed some light on Angry Birds Rio’s future: a series of updates will be rolled out for the game, updates that will follow the themes of RIO 2, the animation comedy that will be released in April 2014. A total of 4 new episodes will be rolled out. The Rocket Rumble episode is the first of the bunch. Three more will follow in the coming 6 months.

If the future looks bright for Angry Birds Rio, the same cannot be said about Angry Birds Star Wars on Facebook. You see, Rovio recently announced that the game will come to a close. March 3, 2014 will be the last day that Angry Birds Star Wars is available to play on Facebook. And starting with the 17th of December 2013 credits will no longer be available for purchase.

The good news is that Rovio cut the prices of all items in half. You can use your remaining credit to purchase items at a low price.
