Back in the day, you had a landline phone that every member of the family used. And you had it for a long, long time, because who would bother to frequently change the landline? What would be the purpose? If it worked, it didn’t need changing.

Things are different nowadays. Now we have powerful smartphones instead of landlines. Not one per family, one for every member of the family. The thing is that smartphones don’t last that long. Before long, you’ll want to or have to get a new one. What will you do when that time comes? Chuck your old phone in the bin and go get a new one?
