With Valentines Day only a few days away, 2D Boy, the company founded by former EA Arts developers Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel, announced that the iPad version of the World of Goo app is on sale TODAY ONLY. You can get World of Goo for iPad for less than $1, but only if you hurry up. The promo is available today only!

“We’ve scheduled World of Goo iPad for a one-day “99c Lonely Valentine Sale” for Thursday, February 10th for everyone else out there awaiting a cold and cheap Valentines Day,” said 2D Boy.

The big pink Beauty Ball was then quoted by 2D Boy as saying “We may not have love, but we’ll always have Goo.”

So what are you waiting for? Head over to the App Store and get World of Good for iPad for $0.99.

This is not the first time that 2D Boy announces it is offering World of Goo for iPad on the cheap. Back in January the company announced that it is offering the iPad app for $4.99, a 50% discount. At the time 2D Boy was celebrating the fat the app was on the App Store for more than a month.

People keeping track of these things will remember that back in November 2010, 2D Boy announced that work on World of Goo for iPad is done and they’re waiting on Apple to approve the app. In December Apple did just that, it welcomed the app in the App Store.

So to sum it up, if you want to get World of Goo for iPad for $0.99, you can get it today. Then you can enjoy the game by yourself, or with others. One of the great things about World of Goo for iPad is that it supports up to 11 players. As 2D Boy explained, this means “you can play with 11 fingers on one screen. Which means you can play two handed, with friends, an animal, anything up to eleven fleshy things touching the screen.”
