The manlier PC user may not like this application’s pink theme. But there’s no way you won’t like the functionality Preme puts at your disposal. Especially if you like getting more functionality just by using the mouse.

Scroll the taskbar to adjust the volume, wheel click to close a window, scroll up to maximize window, place cursor in the upper right hand corner to open a file – these functions and more are offered by Preme, a free application for Windows-powered machines.

Preme – Installing the Application

A wizard will help you install Preme on your Windows-powered machine. Download an installer, run it, and you will be presented with a setup wizard that doesn’t list that many options. Just click on “Yes, I agree and want to install” and you will be done in a blink. I’m not joking, it will take but a second for the installation process to be complete.

Preme – So Much Pink

During the split second it takes to install the application, you will see this.

Click the star icon in the system tray to get more pink.

And there’s even more pink in the Settings menu.

Preme – The Wonderful Functionality

I don’t really care if you like the pink theme or not. Even if you flinch when you see all the pink, you’re going to smile when you see what Preme can do. I have to say, I quite like what this application can do.

Preme Main Features
  • Left click for a couple a seconds on a window and you can make it always stay on top of other windows.
  • Close a window by clicking the wheel button.
  • Scroll down and the window will minimize.
  • Scroll up and the window will maximize.
  • Pressing ESC twice acts like Alt + F4.
  • Scroll up and down on the taskbar to adjust the volume.
  • Set it so that when you put the mouse cursor in the upper right hand corner Firefox launches and when you put tin the upper left hand corner active is window is hidden.
