What’s better than getting to play a game before everyone else? Getting to play it for free, of course! That’s the case with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, the open world military shooter that is scheduled to be released on March 7, 2017.

Ubisoft is giving you the chance to try the game for free by taking part in the Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta. Available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, the Open Beta kicks off tomorrow, February 23, and goes on through the weekend, ending on February 27.

"As a special bonus, if you participated in the closed beta or the open beta – and start up the retail version of Ghost Recon Wildlands before March 31 on the same Ubisoft account – you’ll also gain access to the special 'Unidad Conspiracy' reward, which includes three exclusive missions that features a brewing conflict between the local Unidad military and the Santa Blanca," explained Senior Communications Manager Giancarlo Varanini.

A quick intro

The action in this game takes place in modern day Bolivia. You’re a member of the Ghosts, an elite team that has been dispatched by the US Army to deal with the Santa Blanca drug cartel. You are to destroy the cartel and expose its ties to the local government.
