Plants vs. Zombies 2: Trailer Out Now, Game Launch This July
PopCap has just rolled out a trailer for the Plants vs. Zombies 2 game and officially announced that the sequel to the very popular game will launch worldwide on July 18th, exclusively for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Back in March, PopCap games confirmed that two new editions of the highly entertaining Plants vs. Zombies game will be rolled out this year: the sequel, Plants vs. Zombies 2, and the socially oriented Plants vs. Zombies Adventures. What PopCap did not say at the time was when it would release the sequel everyone is waiting for.
Then in May, Plants vs. Zombies Adventures opened to the general public on popular social network Facebook. The game came with new combat mechanics, new plants, new zombies, new power-ups, and other new content. Once again, PopCap kept silent and did not say when Plants vs. Zombies 2 would be released to the public.
It’s now June, and PopCap has finally given us a release date for the much awaited sequel. PopCap announced that Plants vs. Zombies 2 will launch worldwide on the 18th of July. The game will feature new worlds, new plants, new zombies, new ways to play, new power-ups, new plant food that supercharges plants, new game mechanics, and dozens of new levels.
Next week Plants vs. Zombies 2 will be previewed by invitation only at E3 in Los Angeles. Then on the 18th of July, it will launch worldwide, exclusively for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
