Plants need water and you need water as well. Plant Nanny, a free iOS app, tasks you with watering some very cute plants and ensures you stay hydrated by reminding you to drink water regularly.

I keep hearing on TV and on the radio that if you want to stay healthy, you should eat less fat and sugar, exercise more often, and drink at least 2 liters of water every day. If you lose track of how much water you drank, or if you forget to drink water regularly, there’s a fun, free app out there that addresses your problem.
The app I am talking about is called Plant Nanny – it combines health with fun.

As mentioned above, Plant Nanny combines health with fun. The health part refers to the fact that it ensures you stay hydrated. The app reminds you how many cups of water you need to drink today, it provides support for various types of cups, it lets you customize cups with different capacities, and it lets you track your drinking history.

And now, the fun part. Plant Nanny puts you in charge of watering some very cute plants. There are various cute and lovely plants in different kinds of flowerpots that need to be watered. They will get the water they need when you drink the water you need. Or to put it in other words, when you drink a cup of water, the plants are virtually watered in the app. You’ll see that as you water your plants, they will grow.
