Pilot Launch Announcements: Yahoo! My Display Ads

Yahoo! has recently announced the pilot launch of a new self-serve display ad solution named Yahoo! My Display Ads. According to the Santa Clara-based company, Yahoo! My Display Ads is meant to address the advertising needs of small and medium-sized businesses that want to reach their target audience via Yahoo! and Yahoo!’s partner sites network. Yahoo! has more than 165 million users in the US of A and thanks to this new ad solution, which is powered by AdReady by the way, the option to target these users has now opened up to a new segment of advertisers.

Senior Vice President North America Revenue and Market Development with Yahoo!, Joanne Bradford, comments: “Yahoo! My Display Ads allows small businesses to build on their search marketing with display campaigns that reach a targeted audience on some of the Internet's most popular websites. This new solution provides an affordable and accessible option for businesses to run brand and performance campaigns that reach the local audiences that matter to them most.”

Here is what Yahoo! My Display Ads has to offer the small and medium-sized business:
- A powerful geographic and demographic ad targeting solution to reach the local audiences that are most relevant to your business.
- Yahoo! My Display Ads provides a web-based- self-serve interface that any business owner can use to create and customize ad campaigns.
- There are more than 800 display templates to use when setting up a customized ad campaign for your business.
- The option to select CPM (cost per thousand, where M is the Roman numeral for one thousand) and CPM-based pricing.
- Track and manage the performance of your ad campaign with daily key metrics reports and optimize campaigns on the fly if you notice your campaign goals are not reached.
