On Thursday, June 14th, Rovio Entertainment released an update for the Angry Birds Seasons game, update called Piglantis and the nice thing about it is that brings with it a total of 30 new levels. Here is what the developer behind the incredibly popular Angry Birds game had to say about Piglantis via its official blog:

“This huge summer update for Angry Birds Seasons has 30 tropical levels and all new underwater physics! For the very first time, the birds are taking to the water -- fling them in the lagoon and see what happens! Hint: Pigs sink and birds float!”

To get a taste of what playing Piglantis is like, take a look at the video presented below.

Angry Birds Seasons 2.4, the update that adds Piglantis and the 30 new levels mentioned above to the game, has been released for iPhone, iPad and Android. Rovio Entertainment explained that the Mac and PC versions of Angry Birds Seasons will be updated in the near future (the company did not provide an exact release date).

To mark the Piglantis huge summer update for Angry Birds Seasons, Rovio Mobile released some very nice wallpapers. Check them out below.

Angry Birds Space seems to be very popular. In the first 35 days after the game was released, it was downloaded more than 50 million times. And a week ago (on Friday, June 8th) Rovio Mobile announced that the game was downloaded over 100 million times.
