Panda Security, Spain-based company that specializes in providing antivirus, firewall, spam and spyware detection applications, is challenging you to take part in a new competition and possibly win an antivirus license and some pretty enticing Amazon Gift Cards. There are three challenges to solve, one more difficult than the other; but then again, the value of the gift card also increases as the challenge does, so that should make up for it.

PandaLabs Director and Malware Alerts Coordinator, Luis Corrons, explains: “We have decided to create 3 new challenges so that we can see what you are capable of. I will publish the first and easiest one next July 7th, the medium one on July 14th and the hardest on July 21st. Even though I know you guys do this just for fun, we'll give you some incentives; we will reward the first one to solve each challenge with an Amazon Gift Card.”

For the easy challenge, you will get an Amazon Gift Card worth 150€
For the medium challenge you will get an Amazon Gift Card worth 250€.
For the hard challenge you will get an Amazon Gift Card worth 450€.
But this is not all! For each of the challenges Panda Security will hand out an AV license to the first 5 winners.

According to Luis Corrons, this is not the first time that such a competition took place. A reverse challenge was launched in Spain a little while back, but unfortunately nobody could solve the 3 different challenges. It is a pity though, because more than 800 answers were sent in to pandasecurity[dot]com .

If this challenge is to your liking, here are some details that you need to know about:
- Updates will be published on the PandaLabs blog and on Twitter.
- The competition has some terms and conditions attached to it; read them here (PDF warning).
