Would you like to win a Samsung Nexus S or a Samsung Galaxy Tab? If your answer went something like “you know I do”, then you need to know that Opera Software didn’t just roll out Opera Mobile 11 and Opera Mini 6 yesterday. It also rolled out an interesting competition.

In the press release that announces Opera Mobile 11 and Opera Mini 6, Opera Software has included several music references. If you find then all and submit your findings via this contest form, you can win a Samsung Nexus S. Opera Software explained that all submissions will be judged bassed on the following criteria:
  • Find all 27 songs in the press release. We want artist, title and reference.
  • Creativity and fun. We don't just want correct answers in pure text. Send us a blog post (on My Opera) with cover albums, tracklists to Spotify, Grooveshark or songs on YouTube you've identified. Anything goes - as long as it is a creative and fun submission.

All answers must be submitted by Friday, the 25th of March. To take part in the competition you must be a member of My Opera and you must get all 27 songs right.

Taking the focus away from the competition and putting the spotlight on Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11, here are the new features these browsers have to offer, as Opera Software detailed in the abovementioned press release:
- Improved scrolling, panning and zooming.
- True pinch-to-zoom is available for devices that support it.
- A new share button that lets you post whatever you want to Twitter, Facebook, vKontakte, or My Opera.
- Optimized for tablets. As Opera Software put it, Opera for tablets has a brand new interface that “is sure to rock you like a hurricane.”

And here’s what CEO of Opera Software, Lars Boilesen, had to comment on the release of Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11: “If you’ve lost that loving feeling for the Web on your phone or tablet, don’t let it bring you down. Just try one of our browsers. The sun always shines on TV, but the Opera browser shines on more than 3000 devices.”
