The Android version of Opera Mobile 11 has been updated, announced yesterday Norwegian developer Opera Software. All users are well advised to get the update, Opera Mobile 11 update 4, as it is meant to make the browser a more stable platform. Or to put it in other words, Opera Mobile 11 update 4 for Android is a stability update that fixes various bugs.

The Opera Mobile Team explained that Opera Mobile 11 update 4 comes with various improvements and fixes, such as: improved text rendering, fixed Opera Mobile 11 being unresponsive after connection loss, and fixed a number of deice specific crashes. Moving on, the Norwegian software developer also announced yesterday that it released a new version of Opera Mobile Emulator, the tool web designers and developers need to create mobile-friendly websites and web content. The latest version of Opera Mobile Emulator makes it quite easy to install the emulator on a PC or Mac and play with various environment settings.

“The Opera Mobile Emulator is a great tool for anyone who is involved with mobile development,” said Andreas Bovens, Group Leader for Developer Relations & Tools at Opera Software. “We wanted to make mobile testing super easy (yes, even our PR guys manage to use it!). In the emulator, you’ll find a ton of customization options for a wide range of mobile platforms. And, of course, you can do close-up code inspection and live editing via Opera Dragonfly’s remote debugging functionality.”
