Opera Software announced the release of the 2nd beta version of Opera Mobile 10 (the Windows Mobile as well as the Symbian version) at the start of the month. Both software applications come with an updated look, tabbed browsing, Speed Dial, password manager, the latest generation Opera browser engine, and all the other goodies that make Opera a great browser.

The Opera team has bow announced that it upgraded Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2. The Windows Mobile version comes with support for Arabic and Hebrew websites, meaning that left to right rendering works just fine in Opera Mobile 10. The Windows Mobile version of Opera 10 Beta 2 also comes with increased auto-rotation support and faster loading times.

The Symbian/S60 version of Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2 comes with native keyboard input integration. This means Symbian customers can now use their default keyboards to input characters. To put this in perspective, a Symbian customer running Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2 could for example write in his native language when writing an email or when searching for something on Google.

Opera CEO, Jon von Tetzchner, had this to comment: “With each of our beta releases, we put users first. Their needs are our first priority, which is why it was important for us to add bi-directional language support and the ability to input native characters, such as Chinese, into the browser. There are millions of Hebrew, Arabic and Chinese speakers out there, and we want to make sure that Opera works seamlessly for them, allowing them to surf the Web within the comforts of their native language.”
