Opera Feels the Love: 300 Million Users Across All Platforms

Opera Software just shed some light on how many users love using its innovative and speedy browser. Opera Software announced that, across all platforms, there are now more than 300 million monthly Opera users around the world.

The Opera web browser is available for multiple platforms, as the image above so adequately points out. You can use Opera on your Android smartphone, on your Windows PC, on your iPad tablet, and more. If you were curious to know just how many people out there use Opera on their desktop or portable devices, the Norwegian software company has recently shed some light on the matter. Opera Software announced that, across all platforms, there are 300 million Opera users out there.

“Today we reached 300 million monthly Opera users across all our browser products on phones, tablets, TVs and computers,” announced on Wednesday Community Manager for Opera, Aleksander Aas. “That is a lot of people using Opera on a monthly basis, and we're excited to bring the news that you will be seeing new and cool updates from Opera this year. The first look at what we are bringing to the smartphone game will be shown at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, with a preview of our upcoming browser for Android.”

The Mobile World Congress, the world’s premier mobile industry event, will take place at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, from the 25th until the 28th of February, 2013. Numerous players from the mobile ecosystem will attend and showcase their latest innovations and apps at a world-class venue. More than 67,000 attendees from 205 countries around the world are expect to come and check out the world’s premier industry event.
