Apple’s AirDrop lets you easily share content with devices running iOS 7 – iPhone 5 or newer, 4th gen iPad, iPad mini, or 5th gen iPod Touch.

Opera Coast, the web browser your iPhone deserves, has been updated and received support for AirDrop. This means the browser lets you share online finds with a fellow iPhone user.

Opera Coast, the made-for-touch mobile browser that was specifically designed to work with your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, has recently been updated to version 3.1. It comes with AirDrop support, better iCloud syncing, and an updated iPad search experience.

Opera Coast 3.1 – AirDrop Support

As you may already know, AirDrop lets you share content with devices running iOS 7. So if you’re in a room with a friend, you can share photos with him via AirDrop.

Opera Coast 3.1 comes with support for AirDrop. So if you find some interesting content while browsing the web, you can easily share said content via AirDrop. You can find AirDrop in the browser’s list of sharing options in your recent sites.

Here’s another tip: long-press a photo and tap the AirDrop icon to share it.

Opera Coast 3.1 – Better iCloud Syncing

  • The last page you viewed with Opera Coast is now shared between your devices
  • Passwords are synced via Keychain on iCloud.

Please note that Keychain is disabled by default. To enable it you must go to Settings -> iCloud -> Keychain -> toggle it to on.

Opera Coast 3.1 – Updated iPad Search Experience

iPad search now has the functionality and looks of iPhone search.

To access the search function you can pull down anywhere on the home screen.
