Bandai Namco Games just announced that the “One Piece Treasure Cruise” roleplaying smartphone game is being made available to an international audience.

According to the press release, the game rolls out to Canada first and the US, Europe, and Australia shortly thereafter. As of February 4, 2015, One Piece Treasure Cruise is available for iOS and Android users in Canada.

Bandai Namco Games used One Piece, the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, as a source of inspiration for an interesting roleplaying game: One Piece Treasure Cruise.

In this game you have to form a pirate crew and set sail for adventure – of course, this means battling all sorts of enemies and going against powerful bosses. As you play through the game, you will experience thrilling battles, get to upgrade your crew, and you will experience the story of the original One Piece comic and animation.

One Piece Treasure Cruise is already a big hit in Japan. You see, the game was released in Japan back in May, 2014. And since it has been released, it managed to rack up more than 10 million downloads.

Since One Piece Treasure Cruise was such a big hit in Japan, Bandai Namco Games decided to make it available in other parts of the world. On February 4, 2015, the game was rolled out to iPhone and Android users in Canada.

If you’re in Canada, you can get the game right now from Apple’s App Store or from Google Play.

One Piece Treasure Cruise will also be released in the US (North America), Europe (Germany, UK, Italy, Spain), and Australia. It’s just that we don’t know when. Bandai Namco Games did not provide an exact release date. It just said that the game will be released in these regions “shortly thereafter.”

While you wait for One Piece Treasure Cruise to be released in the US, why don’t you give another popular title a try:
