A new app is available for iOS and Android users around the world: Facebook Groups. Recently rolled out to Apple’s App Store and Google Play, this app lets you see all your Facebook groups in one place and lets you easily stay in touch with groups of people.

If you want to stay in touch with your family members, if you want to stay in touch with a group of friends, if you want to stay in touch with a group of coworkers, you can very easily do so with the new Facebook Groups app on your iPhone or Android smartphone.

Facebook Groups – Main Features
  • Create a Group – start a group for your family members, for your coworkers, for your online gaming buddies, for anything you want.
  • Find a Group – if you don’t want to create a group, you can join an existing group. The app will help you find a group for whatever you’re into.
  • Stay in Touch – you can post updates, you can share photos, you can post links, you can easily stay in touch with all the people in a group.

Get Facebook Groups for Android from Google Play.

Facebook Groups is a Facebook Creative Labs product. Facebook Creative Labs is the place where Facebook crafts new apps to support the diverse ways people want to connect and share. I bring this up because Facebook Creative Labs recently rolled out an app called Rooms.

Rooms will also help you stay in touch with groups of people. You see, this is an app that lets you create rooms for the things you like. You can use the app to create a room for any topic that interests you or to join a room about a topic that interests you.
