The great thing about Microsoft’s Bing search engine, from a visual point of view at least, is that every day you get to see a different high quality image on the search engine’s homepage. Sure, you can also see an image on Google.com, but it never changes unless you do so manually. You select the image and you choose to change it. Bing keeps things interesting by posting a different image each day.

Some of these images are so good that some Windows 7 users would like to use them as their desktop wallpaper. And Bing is more than happy to oblige. From time to time Bing takes the best images and puts them together in a handy Windows 7 theme pack. So far we’ve seen the release of Bing’s Best 1, Bing’s Best 2, and Bing’s Best 3.

Now we witness the release of – no, not Bing’s Best 4 – but the release of Bing’s Best Japan. The new theme pack is made up of a grand total of 18 wallpapers and weighs in at little over 17MB. All the images included in the Bing’s Best Japan theme pack depict the wonders of Japan.

The launch of the Bing’s Best Japan theme pack coincides with another important event for Microsoft – The Japanese version of Bing has been released. As you may already know, Redmond-based software giant Microsoft offers localized versions of the Bing search engine. Now there is a localized version of Bing for all the users in Japan as well.
